"I live to paint and paint to live".  Soaking up the great outdoors, brush in hand in front of my canvas, I lose track of all time, and it is these moments I cherish most.   

Though I've experienced careers that run the gamut from flipping hamburgers at the A&W to modeling in NYC and the capitals of Europe and Asia; acting in LA and NY and designing custom kitchens, I’ve discovered that painting is most naturally suited to my personality.  

As a child, I turned to nature for comfort, wonder, and grace.  It is my hope my art will imbue these characteristics. In my youth I loved to draw and feel quite blessed that I could once again enter the art world as an adult, studying at Pratt Institute and The Woodstock School of Art. However,  I've assimilated technique by attending workshops and through great teachers including Billy O'Donnell, Hillary Lambert, Dee Beard Dean, and Ben Fenske.

Color and light are critical --  color creating the shape and light bringing it to life.  
I enjoy recording what I see since it is a way of letting someone gain entre into my world.
 It isn’t necessary to make things up since nothing is more beautiful than what the Creator
has brought forth.
